Dear Madam/Sir,

I would like to bring to your attention a note verbale addressed to all Permanent Missions to the United Nations Offices in New York, Geneva, Nairobi and Vienna, the United Nations departments and bodies, specialized agencies, intergovernmental and other organizations, inviting them to nominate candidates for the position of Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) at the level of Assistant Secretary-General, based in Montreal, Canada.
